The ABS [1] control module controls the entire anti-lock braking system. It collects information from all the sensors and regulates the braking pressure using pumps and valves to prevent wheels from locking up. When there is a malfunction within the ABS module, the ABS light turns on to alert the driver. An ABS module can be damaged due to a
Fault Code:- P1647 Indicates a Power-train fault. The fault is generally due to a problem in the Computer & Output Circuit area. Fault Description: ECM HO2 Sensor control malfunction -bank 2 upstream (2/1) Action of ECM:- ECM Default:- HO2S 2/1 control circuit inhibited. After clearing the DTC, complete the Drive vehicle for 10 minutes. You would need a jaguar type code reader to see the jaguar codes other than the standard OBD 2 ones. But check what you have,3 coils, 3 plugs not working under the manifold. Air leakage, hose damaged, water / oil shorting out the spark etc. Anything else not normal in the engine bay, noise, air leak, leakage etc. I have a 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 Sport. A month ago the battery died and I just got it replaced (so the car was not driven for about a month). I am now receiving a Gearbox Fault message and my check engine light is on.… DTCs come in a string of five characters. One code for example, might be “P0806”. The first character will either be P (powertrain), B (Body-AC/Airbag), C (chassis-ABS) or U (network-CAN/BUS). This character will help you determine which of the four main car’s parts is at fault. hi there, I am having the exact same issue as described, in general the car (x-type 2.0d 53plate) drives lovely upto around 35mph then as soon as it comes to accelerating past this getting upto 50-60mph the glow plug light flashes sometimes accompanied by the engine management light and a low pitched rumbling sound, as soon as i stop and start the car again the glowplug light is gone andPlace the instrument cluster in the engineering mode and measure the voltage from the engine RPM and the speedometer inputs. If it reads correctly, then the problem is with the cluster itself that will need to be replaced. Otherwise, the ABS module could be at fault that will need repaired. Make sure to reprogram the new instrument cluster

This was so, even though car was not driven very far. 5 days ago when I started the car, all of the warning/fault lights (which come on momentarily when you start
